Best Dressed at the 2015 Oscars
The 87th Academy Awards ceremony was filled
with amazing artist performances and inspirational speeches. We all
rushed to call our parents at J.K. Simmons’ request and were also told
that it was okay to be weird. But best of all — Meryl and JLo are for
wage equality for women in the good ol’ U-S of A! But before the
stars took to the stage — the red carpet was buzzing under a rain
cloud. Here are my best dressed of the night– OSCARS 2015!
Rosamund Pike, ever the English Rose wore a red Givenchy gown with matching strappy heels. While she didn’t win an Oscar for Best Actress she won for Best Dressed on the red carpet!
We were ALL wondering who was going to wear Tom Ford last night. The honor went to Best Actress nominee, Reese Witherspoon. She looked elegant and edgy in black and white. The placement of the black detail gives the illusion of a smaller waist– who doesn’t love that?!
Can you believe this couture gown never made it down the runway?! Well, it was meant to be on the red carpet! Naomi Watts brought back the sporty element of the bandeau in this Armani Prive.
Anna Wintour is rumored to have helped Sienna Miller select this Oscar de la Renta gown.
ALWAYS the fashion girl! Julianne Moore wore Chanel to receive her Oscar for Still Alice.
Some people weren’t fans of the color but Emma Stone looked regal in Saint Laurent. The high slit keeps it from being too 1920’s flapper girl.
Say what you will BUT Margot Robbie exuded sex in black Saint Laurent. Can’t wait to see her alongside Will Smith on the big screen- the trailers are already giving us steamy chemistry rumors.
It took a while to let this Sarah Burton creation for Alexander McQueen to grow on me. But in the end, Felicity Jones turned heads with the high neckline and pearl embroidery–she was a modern day Cinderella.
Lupita Nyong’O can do NO wrong. Last year’s favorite Oscar winner wore custom Calvin Klein this year. Apparently, Prince was this dress’s inspiration — can you see it?
This major red carpet no-no happened last night. Jennifer Lopez and Luciana Duvall both arrived in similar looking dresses! Jennifer Lopez wore Elie Saab, while Luciana Duvall wore Jad Ghandor. Which dress do you prefer?

Move over Jolie-Pitts, it’s the Tatums! This couple should get more attention – they always get it right! Jena Dewan-Tatum wore Zuhair Murad- a red carpet favorite!
We couldn’t get enough of Behati sticking out her tongue for the cameras. Indeed, Adam and Behati are becoming a red carpet favorite.
Another Zuhair Murad gown worn by better half, Chrissy Teigan, alongside hubby and Oscar winner, John Legend.
Wearing an ombre Jenny Packham, America Ferrera walked the red carpet alongside husband, Ryan Piers Williams.
